THE STORY SO FAR

Welcome to the world of DragonWars, where epic battles and fantastical creatures come to life!

DragonWars is a passion project that has been over 15 years in the making. The journey began with Razor, the small blue dragon who has since become the face of the game as well as mascot for my Twitch channel. Originally created for a comic I was working on, Razor was meant to be a side character in a story that centred around Lynks (the green dragon). However, life had other plans, and I couldn’t find the time to fully launch the comic.

Despite the comic never coming to fruition, my passion for creating unique characters and telling their stories never faded. Over the years, I continued to bring my dragons to life in a new way, gathering a following on Instagram by creating and animating 3D characters into real-world settings through augmented reality (AR). This creative journey allowed me to explore new dimensions of storytelling and bring my dragons into the world in ways I never imagined.

The idea for DragonWars was born from the desire to combine all of my skills into one exciting, interactive experience. Everything you see in the game was built and animated by myself. I have a professional background in graphic design, web design, animation and video editing. Using what I’ve learnt, I was able to create a table-top card game featuring my three dragon characters, Razor, Lynks, and Cynda. DragonWars is the result, blending strategy, creativity, and cutting-edge technology into a table-top card game like no other.

But the journey doesn’t end here. The next step is to bring DragonWars into the digital realm with a mobile app, allowing players to engage with the game’s AR features and enjoy battles anytime, anywhere. The future of DragonWars is bright, and I’m thrilled to continue this adventure with you.
